This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all services provided by ATAR Academy Perth (“we”, “our”, “us”), including tutoring, classes, courses, workshops, and educational programs.
ATAR Academy Perth does not sell or ship physical products. All services provided are educational services delivered in-person or online.
1. No Returns Policy
As ATAR Academy Perth does not sell or ship physical goods, returns are not applicable.
2. Registrations and Refunds
Once a student has been registered and enrolled in a class, course, or program, the registration is considered final.
Except where required by law:
- No refunds are provided once a class has commenced
- No refunds are provided for change of mind
- No refunds are provided for missed classes or non-attendance
- No refunds are provided for early withdrawal from a course
By enrolling, you acknowledge that places are limited and reserved specifically for each student.
3. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or remedy if:
- The service was not provided with due care and skill
- The service was not delivered as described
- A major failure occurs as defined under the Australian Consumer Law
Where a remedy is required, ATAR Academy Perth may, at its discretion and in accordance with the law, provide:
- A refund
- A credit
- A replacement or rescheduled service
4. Cancellations by ATAR Academy
ATAR Academy Perth reserves the right to:
- Cancel or reschedule classes, sessions, or programs due to unforeseen circumstances, including tutor illness, low enrolments, or events beyond our control
If we cancel a class or program:
- Students may be offered a replacement session, credit, or refund, as appropriate
5. Transfers and Credits
Requests to transfer a student to another class, session, or program:
- Are assessed on a case-by-case basis
- Are not guaranteed
- May incur administrative fees of $120.00 inc GST
Any credits issued:
- Are non-transferable
- Are not redeemable for cash
- May have an expiry date
6. Non-Attendance and Missed Sessions
Failure to attend a scheduled session, including online sessions, does not entitle the student to:
- A refund
- A credit
- A make-up session
Unless otherwise stated in writing.
7. Exceptional Circumstances
In limited and exceptional circumstances (such as serious illness or compassionate grounds), ATAR Academy Perth may consider alternative arrangements at its discretion. Supporting documentation may be requested.
8. Changes to This Policy
ATAR Academy Perth may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon publication on our website.
